Industry SLC Office is an adaptive reuse of a 1940s industrial brick building, formerly used as a foundry. Located in the heart of Salt Lake City’s Granary District, an area poised for revitalization and repositioning, it offers creative office and light industrial space to entrepreneurs and small- to medium-sized businesses. At full build-out, it will include ~345,000 SF of mixed-use development. Through adaptive reuse practices, Industry SLC Office was able to retain meaningful portions of the existing structure, thereby reducing the project’s waste and carbon footprint.
