At its Winter 2024 Giving Back Event, Catalyst proudly partnered with The Road Home, a Utah-based nonprofit offering social services and housing assistance to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Salt Lake City and along the Wasatch Front. Every year, the Road Home provides housing assistance to over 2,500 people and emergency shelter to over 4,000 people. Catalyst and The Road Home share meaningful mission alignment around the importance and dignity of housing.

At the event, Catalyst assembled 30 “move-in” kits for local families in need. These families are poised to move out of shelters and into permanent housing, but struggle to purchase the necessities required to set up and maintain a home. The Road Home specifically earmarked the kits Catalyst assembled for families with children. In total, the 30 kits included 600+ essential household items, including pots and pans, cutting boards, cleaning supplies, bath towels and mats, laundry detergent, laundry baskets and beyond.
