Cole Motor

Cole Motor

Cole Motor, a mixed-use adaptive reuse project in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, repurposes two historic, 1910s buildings into 213-units of affordable and workforce housing and 30,000 SF of community-oriented commercial space. Catalyst expects to fill half of the commercial space with a local childcare facility. As an adaptive reuse project, Cole Motor features inherent environmental attributes, including a reduced carbon footprint due to the project’s reuse of carbon-intensive building elements, such as the foundation, structure and building envelope. The project is estimated to deliver in Q4 2026.
